Located 4 km (2.5 miles) east of downtown Tijuana and also known as Tijuana International Airport, it is one of the busiest in the country and serves much of the state of Baja California. It operates with domestic flights and international destinations in China. It has ATMs, currency exchange bureaus (24 hours), VIP room and free Wi-Fi access. It has several restaurants, fast food stores, bars, cafes, pizzerias and confectionery, as well as a mini-market and a place with tax-free products open 24 hours, handicraft shops, souvenirs, books, newspapers and magazines. Ground transportation has buses to the towns of Ensenada, Mexicali, La Paz and Los Cabos and others to different cities in California and Arizona.
