General Rodolfo Sánchez Taboada International Airport
Located 20 km (12 miles) east of the city of Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico, near the US-Mexico Border, it is the northernmost airport in the country. Occasionally it has charter routes to Los Angeles and San Francisco (United States) and to Vancouver (Canada). It has ATMs and free Wi-Fi access, bars and a restaurant inside the terminal. A commercial area within the enclosure has clothing stores, souvenirs, handicrafts, newspapers and tobacco. Transportation to the city center can be done through taxis that are outside the terminal and its cost varies depending on the destination and the service contracted, which can be individual or shared.
