This airport is the most important in Mexico and the busiest in Latin America. It does not only serve the D.F., but much of the country. In addition to the country’s domestic flights, it operates with numerous international destinations within the Americas, Europe and the Far East. It is located 10 km (6 miles) east of Mexico City and has two terminals connected by public bus service and an Aerotrén, free service only for connecting passengers. It has banks, currency exchange bureaus, ATMs, postal services, VIP lounges, mobile phone services, Wi-Fi access free of charge for 15 minutes. Two hotels are located within the premises and have facilities for business and meetings. The metrobus, the metro, hotel express, intercity buses, taxis and private services such as Uber and Easy Taxi are part of the means of transport.
